Sowa, Liu Hua, Ph. D., Chair
Sowa LihuaLiu Hua Sowa is a graduate of the University of Toledo and the Beijing Foreign Studies University. She has a quarter-century of teaching experience, most of that in the U.S., where she has taught English at every level, from elementary to college. Liu Hua Sowa is currently a teacher of ESL (se and interests are in media technologies and marketing communication.
Cheng, AnChung, Ph.D. (郑安中)
AnChung ChengPrincipal and Ex-At-Large Director (2007-2012)Cheng, An Chung is associate professor of Spanish in the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Toledo, where she also serves as coordinator of Beginning and Intermediate Spanish Program and adviser of Spanish Graduate Program and Foreign Language Teacher Education Program. She is specialized in second language acquisition and teacher education, especially in Spanish and Chinese languages. She is the principal investigator of a grant project sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education on Chinese heritage language education in the United States,
Onest, Olivia (欧阳越) At-Large Director
Olivia OnestOlivia was born in Guangdong, China and has been a resident in the Toledo area for over 16 years. She was a graduate from the University of Toledo with a Master degree in Accounting. Both her two daughters are currently attending Chinese School. She is employed at HCR Manorcare in downtown Toledo, primarily responsible for financial analysis.
Peiyuan (Molly) Li At-large Director
Pei YuanPeiyuan (Molly) Li is a surgery nurse at St Luke’s Hospital. Peiyuan was born in China where she spent the first 20 years of her life. She moved to Toledo about 21 years ago, and now has two wonderful boys Benjamin and Aaron. Both of her boys are students at the Chinese School.
Wu, Minhua, Ph.D. (吴敏华)
Wu MinhuaAt-Large DirectorMinhua Wu, Ph.D., is an associate professor focusing on international business and marketing at College of Business Administration and Economics in Yanshan University, Hebei Province China. She is now serving as an expatriate Assistant (Chinese) Director from Hanban at Confucius Institute, University of Toledo.
Zhang, Meng (张萌)
Meng ZhangVice Principal and School Management RepresentativeMeng Zhang, BA in information, was born in China where she spent the first 26 years of her life. She moved to Toledo about 18 years ago, and now has two beautiful girls. The younger girl is at the Chinese School. Meng has worked at 5/3 Bank and Toledo Chinese School for many years.
Wenming Wang, Ph.D.
Wenming WangWenming Wang, born in Ning-Xia, China, came to the United States in January 1998, and earned a Ph.D. degree in metallurgical and material science engineering in May 2001. From May 2001 to September 2003, he was a post-doctoral research associate at University of Tennessee Knoxville and Colorado School of Mines respectively. Currently, He holds a development engineer position at First Solar LLC since January 2008, and resides in Sylvania. Prior to joining First Solar, he held the position of assistant scientist at US Department of Energy$B!G(Bs Brookhaven National Laboratory in Long Island New York. Mr. Wang is married and has two children. His daughter and son both attend Toledo Chinese School.
Xueqing Zhang (张学庆)
XueqingZhangXueqing Zhang was born in Beijing, China. Before she came to the U.S., she was a teacher at a secondary technical school in Beijing. She moved to Toledo in 2006 and has been teaching at the Chinese Center of Toledo since 2007. Now she also teaches Chinese at two local schools.
Lingling Du (杜玲玲) (to be effective in March, 2013)
Lingling DuLingling was born in Jiangxi, China. She had been an OB/GYN doctor in China for 11 years and a biology scientist in US for 14 years. She had been the dean in The Greater Cincinnati Chinese School before she moved to Toledo. She lives in Perrysburg now.

Billstein, Luanne 
Luanne BillsteinLuanne Billstein is the founder of Families with Children from China – Toledo Chapter, a group of families who have adopted children from China. She hopes to see the Chinese Center of Toledo as a complete Chinese language and cultural resource for all Toledoans. 
Chao, Joe, Ph.D. (赵自忠)
Joe ChaoJoe Chao is an Associate Professor and Director of Agile Software Factory of the Department of Computer Science, Bowling Green State University. He is specialized in Agile Software Development, Object-oriented Analysis and Design, and Database Systems, Prior to teaching, he had nine years of industrial experience working as Consultant, Project Manager, and Director of Software Development
Liang, Ye (梁烨)
Liang YeYe Liang, BSc in Math Education, she has more than 20 years working experience with children in China, Singapore and US. She began her tenure as the school principal since July 2006 till June 2012. She came from China and lives in Sylvania.

Chen, Jiquan, Ph.D. (陈吉泉)
Jiquan ChenJiquan was born in Shanxi, China and has been a resident in the Toledo area since 2001. He was a faculty member at the Michigan Tech between 1993 and 2000 after his PhD in ecosystem analysis from University of Washington, Seattle. He also taught at Harvard University in 2000/2001. His wife (Xiang Jiang) has been a teacher for CCT since 2008, where his daughter (Erika) also attends. Currently, he is the Distinguished Professor of Ecology at University of Toledo focusing on global climatic change. He served as the president for the Chinese Association of Greater Toledo (CAGT) between 2005 and 2008 , 2012-present.
Ha Louisa, Ph.D. (哈筱盈) Ex-Chair
Louisa HaLouisa Ha, Ph.D., Professor and Chair, Department of Telecommunications, Bowling Green State University. Her daughter is a student of the Chinese Center of Toledo. She came from Hong Kong and lives in Sylvania Township. Her expertise and interests are in media technologies and marketing communication.
